Willie Botha
Position: Owner
Willie Botha has been actively engaged in the assessment industry since 2014, specializing in assessments related to Fruit/Vegetable Quality, Marine Cargo, and Goods in Transit (G.I.T). His focus on these specific areas indicates expertise in evaluating the quality and condition of fruits and vegetables, as well as assessing the loss of / or damage of marine cargo and goods in transit.
Mannie Botha
Position: Senior Assessor
Mannie Botha is a seasoned professional with a career spanning back to 1989 in the marine, engineering, goods in transit (G.I.T.), and commercial sectors, including contractor's all risks and liability. He has over 12 years of hands-on experience conducting assessments through his own company, MCAS. Prior to that, Mannie served as a claims manager with claims settlement authority at some of South Africa's top insurance brokerages, handling claims across various industries such as mining, heavy equipment, minerals, coal, steel, agriculture, electronics, clothing, pharmaceuticals, food, and frozen goods, among others. His extensive expertise makes him a valuable asset to our company.
Elize Botha
Position: Office Manager
Elize Botha brings a unique background to our team, having previously worked at the South African Revenue Service (SARS) and being awarded SARS team member of the year in 2010. With over 1,600 employees at SARS, receiving such an award showcases her dedication and exceptional contributions. In 2011, Elize decided to join MCAS assessment company. She joined APS in 2022 in the role of an office manager, where her organizational and managerial skills shine.
